Edible nuts & spices
ETG mainly sources Cashews from Benin, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Togo, Kenya, Tanzania and Mozambique. They are exported to India, USA, UK, Canada, Dubai, Kenya, and Vietnam. In Financial year 2011, ETG traded 63,646.5 MT of Cashews.
The Group has launched their own in-house brand for processed cashews. Korosho is established in both Tanzania and Mozambique and the Group owns processing plants in Tunduru (Tanzania) and Chiure (Mozambique). The plants have a combined annual capacity of 10,400 MT and have created hundreds of jobs in those rural areas. ETG has a total of 90 warehouses across Africa for the storage of this high value commodity
We also export High value but small volume spices to Asia which include ginger, cloves and coriander seed.
